Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has criticised Bruno Fernandes’ comments about the team’s tactics following their heavy defeat by Como in the league phase of the Champions League.

Fernandes, the Manchester United captain, questioned the approach used by the Red Devils during the disappointing match. Scholes objected to the midfielder’s remarks after the Italian side secured a 4-1 victory over Manchester United at home.

The Red Devils will attempt to respond in their next fixture, when they face Chelsea in the Premier League.
