Raphinha Sets Ambitious Target After Signing New Barcelona Deal

Barcelona forward Raphinha has declared his determination to win the UEFA Champions League with the Catalan giants after signing a new contract that will keep him at Camp Nou until June 2030.

The Brazil international, who has established himself as one of Barcelona’s most influential players under Hansi Flick, believes the club can compete for every major trophy over the coming years.

According to Barca News Network, Raphinha made his ambitions clear while speaking to reporters following the official announcement of his contract extension on Thursday.

The 29-year-old admitted that winning Europe’s premier club competition remains one of his biggest objectives, despite already enjoying considerable domestic success with the Blaugrana.

What Raphinha Said

“It is a feeling of great pride for me and my family. Only we know what we have been through behind the scenes.

“I am very proud of everything I have achieved, both individually and collectively. Hope to have many more years here; if my legs allow me to continue performing at a high level, I would love to end my career at this club. I do everything I can for the club.”

“I want to be remembered for the trophies. My objective is to win as many titles as possible. So far, the numbers are looking good, and hopefully we can keep it that way.

“There is one trophy in particular, the Champions League, which we are determined to win. We are doing everything possible to achieve that. I want to win every possible title between now and 2030.”

His determination has since been rewarded with an increasingly important role in Flick’s team, where he has developed into a key attacking figure and captain.

Raphinha’s Impressive Start To The Season

Raphinha has enjoyed an outstanding start to the 2026/27 campaign, scoring 19 goals across all competitions, including 15 in La Liga and four in the Champions League.

His impressive performances have also coincided with a change in his attacking responsibilities, with the Brazilian adapting to a central role when required.

Since joining Barcelona in 2022, the Brazilian has made 190 appearances and scored 94 goals.

He has also helped the Catalan giants secure three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.
