Kyle Walker admits he may have to lose a tattoo if Manchester City are stripped of league titles they won during his time at the club.
The former England defender won 15 major trophies, including six Premier League titles, at City from 2017 to 2025 and has body art to mark his successful time there.
He has ‘four in a row’ tattooed on his leg to mark their four successive crowns from 2021 to 2024.
City have been found guilty by an independent commission of breaching Premier League financial rules over a nine-season period but have appealed against the judgement.
Asked on TalkSPORT whether he would remove the tattoo if City were punished and his league medals taken away, Walker said: “Well, I’m probably going to have to do that bit. I’ll try and keep it on, but hopefully we don’t get things taken away.
“It doesn’t look great. Let’s not hide from the fact that they’ve been found guilty, but they’re going through an appeal.
“As a player all I can say is that all we did is go out and play our best football as a team and that I’ll defend the players for the rest of my life.”
