Target Is Doubling Down on Sports Fans With 1,600 New and Remodeled Fan Shops, Exclusive Collections and Gifts Under $25

Sports fans looking for new ways to represent their favorite teams are about to have a lot more options at Target.

The retailer announced it's rolling out 1,600 new and remodeled Fan Shops in more than 80% of its stores nationwide, bringing expanded collections of professional and college sports apparel, accessories and gifts to shoppers across the country.

The revamped Fan Shops will double the space devoted to sports merchandise in participating stores, with exclusive collections from popular sportswear brands and new ways to shop for everything from vintage-inspired varsity clothing to NFL collectibles.

And fans won't necessarily have to spend a fortune to show their team spirit. Target says more than half of its new sports merchandise will cost less than $25, with 90% priced under $50.

What's New at Target's Fan Shops?

The expanded Fan Shops will feature exclusive collections from sportswear brands like Champion, Overtime and The Wild Collective, offering shoppers everything from vintage-inspired varsity styles to comfortable everyday clothing.

Fans will also find NFL-themed gifts from YETI and Funko Advent calendars available exclusively at Target.

For shoppers looking to represent their favorite players, Target is introducing NFL youth jerseys featuring more than 65 players, along with NBA youth jerseys in select local stores. All player jerseys will also be available online.

Another major addition is the introduction of licensed hat walls featuring up to 70 different styles in larger Fan Shops, a first for Target.

The new shopping sections will also feature expanded selections of merchandise representing local professional and college teams, making it easier for fans to find clothing and accessories featuring their hometown favorites.
