Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola says Victor Munoz is "dealing with some pain" and is a doubt to face Brighton this weekend, but Bradley Barcola is fine to feature.
"Bradley has trained today normally," Iraola said during his pre-match press conference. The French winger's load was being managed earlier this week when he trained alone. Munoz sustained his issue during the win at Brentford last Saturday.
The Reds are set to host high-flying Brighton at Anfield in the Premier League this Sunday. Fabian Hurzeler's side has already won two games 5-0 this season, and is behind only Manchester City and Arsenal in the standings.
Conor Bradley and Hugo Ekitike remain long-term absentees. The pair are making progress, but are not expected back in team training for a while yet having already been sidelined for months.
Jeremie Frimpong, Iraola said last week, will be out until the November international break, while young center-back Giovanni Leoni could make his comeback around the same time.
Leoni has been missing for more than a year, with Iraola explaining last week that the Italian had more than just an ACL injury, which has taken more time to recover than initially anticipated.
Last time out, Liverpool star Rio Ngumoha was the outstanding performer against Villarreal. The 18-year-old was described by Virgil van Dijk as being "electric".
"I think he was coming from a very good game the other day, a very good second half against Brentford," Iraola said earlier in the week.
"Today he didn’t have an easy game because they were demanding of him defensively. Their left-back was attacking a lot, but there was a moment where offensively he’s been very difficult to stop.
"If we can put Rio in situations one-v-one where he can get into the box, normally he makes plays, he produces things. The assist to Alexis Mac Allister, I think it is, is a lovely play.

Liverpool FC have launched their new home kit for the 2026/27, inspired by iconic adidas strip worn during the club's 1989/90 title-winning campaign.
"He can even go down for a penalty, but he decides to continue and takes a great decision.
"Also endurance-wise, he’s been able to play more and more minutes. We were pushing for him a little bit, he was tired, but I think he has done a good effort and I’m very happy for him."
Liverpool faces Chelsea and Arsenal at Anfield next week in a rare run of four home matches in a row. It then has Fenerbahce and Crystal Palace before the November internationals.
