Final UCL Table After Cesc Fabregas' Team Won 9-1

According to a report by BBC Sports on Thursday, November 5, 2026, the UEFA Champions League league-phase standings have experienced significant changes following Como's historic 9-1 victory over Lens on Wednesday night.

Cesc Fabregas' Como side produced one of the most remarkable performances in Champions League history, thrashing Lens 9-1 away from home to equal the competition's biggest winning margin.

Tasos Douvikas was the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick, while Nico Paz, Lucas Da Cunha, Marc-Oliver Kempf, Mattia Liberali, Martin Baturina and Matteo Papaccioli also found the net. Ruben Aguilar scored Lens' only goal.

The emphatic victory lifted Como to fourth position with nine points from four matches, putting them among the leading contenders for automatic qualification to the round of 16.

Paris Saint-Germain remain top of the standings with 12 points, while Real Madrid occupy second place with the same number of points. Arsenal are third with 10 points after defeating Slavia Prague 2-1.

Como are followed by Barcelona in fifth place with nine points, Aston Villa in sixth, Manchester City in seventh and Liverpool in eighth position. All four clubs have also collected nine points after four matches.

Club Brugge occupy ninth position, followed by Sporting CP in tenth, Real Betis in eleventh and Borussia Dortmund in twelfth. Bayern Munich are thirteenth with eight points, while Stuttgart sit fourteenth with seven points.

Inter Milan occupy fifteenth position with six points, followed by LASK Linz in sixteenth. Manchester United are seventeenth with six points after their 3-2 victory over Roma, while Galatasaray occupy eighteenth position.

Fenerbahce are nineteenth with five points, followed by Roma in twentieth place. Shakhtar Donetsk occupy twenty-first, Viking are twenty-second, Atletico Madrid are twenty-third and PSV Eindhoven sit twenty-fourth.

Bodo/Glimt are twenty-fifth, Porto occupy twenty-sixth, Napoli are twenty-seventh and Villarreal sit twenty-eighth. AEK Athens, RB Leipzig, Sabah, Feyenoord, Lens, Slavia Prague, Lille and Slovan Bratislava complete the remaining positions.

The top eight teams will qualify automatically for the Champions League round of 16, while clubs finishing between ninth and twenty-fourth will compete in the knockout phase play-offs.

Como's remarkable victory has made them one of the biggest surprises of this season's competition. Fabregas will now hope his players can maintain their impressive form and secure a place among Europe's top eight teams.
