ARS vs EVE: How Arsenal Could Line Up For Their EPL Clash Against Everton

According to a report by Goal on Thursday, October 22, 2026, Arsenal will welcome Everton to the Emirates Stadium in their upcoming Premier League match, with Mikel Arteta hoping to guide his team back to winning ways after their 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The Gunners will be looking to secure all three points, and Arteta could make use of a strong starting lineup for Saturday's encounter.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper: David Raya

Defenders: Timber, Ezri Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori

Midfielders: Rice, Bruno Guimaraes

Attackers: Eze, Ødegaard, Madueke

Striker: Kai Havertz

David Raya is expected to keep his place in goal against Everton, while Jurrien Timber could start at right-back and Riccardo Calafiori could occupy the left-back position. Gabriel is likely to partner Ezri Konsa in the centre of defence as Arteta looks for a solid backline that can prevent Everton from creating dangerous chances.

Declan Rice could once again feature in midfield, where his ability to win the ball and help the defence will be important, while Bruno Guimaraes may join him to provide more control and creativity in the middle of the pitch.

In the attacking department, Eberechi Eze could start on the left wing, with Noni Madueke expected to operate from the right side. Martin Ødegaard is likely to play behind the striker, using his passing ability and movement to create opportunities for Arsenal in the final third.

Kai Havertz could lead the attack as the main striker, with the German expected to use his movement and ability in the air to trouble Everton's defenders. Arsenal will need their attacking players to be more clinical after failing to secure a victory against Bayern Munich.

Arteta will hope his players can deliver a better performance at the Emirates Stadium, knowing that a win against Everton would help Arsenal maintain their strong push in the Premier League title race.
