According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Real Madrid recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Racing Santander following an impressive attacking display in the first half of their encounter.
Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande were all on target as the visitors established a commanding three-goal advantage before the break. Despite Racing Santander's efforts to respond in the second half, Madrid maintained their lead to secure the victory.
Real Madrid began the contest with considerable attacking intent and created several opportunities during the opening minutes. Arda Guler came close to scoring in the eighth minute, but his attempt narrowly missed the target. Bellingham also threatened with a header that forced goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala into an important save.
The breakthrough arrived in the 11th minute after Matteo Prati committed a foul inside the penalty area. The referee awarded Madrid a spot-kick, and Mbappe stepped forward to convert confidently, sending the ball into the bottom corner.
Madrid continued to control proceedings and extended their advantage in the 21st minute. Guler delivered an excellent pass into the penalty area, finding Bellingham, who finished accurately to put the visitors 2-0 ahead.
The Spanish giants added another goal in the 36th minute through Diomande. After the ball rebounded towards him outside the penalty area, the attacker produced a powerful effort that flew into the top corner, leaving Agirrezabala unable to prevent the goal.
Racing Santander attempted to improve their performance after the interval but struggled to find a way past Madrid's defence. Mbappe nearly increased the visitors' advantage in the 60th minute, but his effort struck the right post. Bellingham also tested Agirrezabala three minutes later.
The hosts were given an opportunity to reduce the deficit in the 72nd minute after Aurelien Tchouameni was penalised for handling the ball inside the area. However, following a VAR review, the referee overturned the initial penalty decision.
Madrid continued to create chances towards the closing stages, but neither team managed to score again. The visitors consequently finished the encounter with a 3-0 victory, having done most of the damage during an outstanding first-half performance.
