Arsenal Discover Asking Price For In-Form Club Brugge Striker

According to a report by Football Transfer on Tuesday October 27, 2026, Arsenal have reportedly been informed that they must pay approximately €50 million (£41.8 million) to sign Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi, who has enjoyed an impressive start to the season.

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Gunners have developed a strong interest in the 22-year-old forward, whose outstanding performances have attracted attention across Europe.

Tresoldi has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances for the Belgian side this season. His remarkable form includes a Champions League hat-trick against Inter Milan earlier this month.

Arsenal could benefit from their positive relationship with Club Brugge, having signed Greek winger Christos Tzolis from the Belgian club in July. However, securing Tresoldi’s signature would require a bigger financial commitment.

The Gunners reportedly paid €40 million (£35 million) for Tzolis, meaning Tresoldi’s valuation is considerably higher.

Plettenberg also reported that Brugge demanded €50 million from Barcelona during the summer transfer window. The Spanish giants were unwilling to meet the asking price and instead signed Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal for a reported €10 million (£8.3 million).

Jesus has since impressed at Barcelona, scoring four goals in eight appearances under manager Hansi Flick.

Meanwhile, Arsenal remain linked with several attacking players after exploring major transfers during the summer. Their reported targets included Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez and Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.

However, the North London club failed to complete deals for those players while also reportedly losing Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli to Besiktas and Al-Hilal respectively.

Mikel Arteta’s team have started the 2026-27 campaign strongly, losing only one of their first 13 matches across all competitions. They are level on 21 points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal are also seventh in the Champions League league phase standings, while Club Brugge sit 11th, with Tresoldi’s goals proving crucial to their European campaign.

The German Under-21 international continued his impressive scoring form on Sunday, producing another hat-trick to help Brugge defeat Sint-Truiden in the Belgian Pro League.

With his performances attracting growing attention, Arsenal may need to act decisively if they want to bring the promising striker to the Premier League.
