According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday November 1, 2026, Manchester United have five important fixtures scheduled across the UEFA Champions League and Premier League as they prepare for a demanding period in November under manager Michael Carrick.

The Red Devils will be desperate to return to winning ways following their disappointing 2-0 defeat against Chelsea. Their upcoming matches will provide an opportunity to improve their performances, collect important points and restore confidence among their supporters.

Manchester United's first fixture will be against AS Roma in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The match will take place at Old Trafford, with kick-off scheduled for 9:00 pm Nigerian time. United will be hoping to secure a victory in front of their home supporters.

Their second encounter will be against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday, November 8. The match will also take place at Old Trafford and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm Nigerian time. It will be another important test for Carrick's side as they look to improve their position in the league.

The third fixture will see Manchester United travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Sunday, November 22. The Premier League showdown is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 pm Nigerian time. It is expected to be a difficult encounter because of the rivalry between both clubs.

United will then travel to Portugal to face Sporting CP in the Champions League on Wednesday, November 25. The match will be played at Estádio José Alvalade, with kick-off scheduled for 9:00 pm Nigerian time.

Their fifth fixture will be against Brentford on Saturday, November 28. Manchester United will host the Bees at Old Trafford in a Premier League encounter scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm Nigerian time.

These five matches could prove crucial for Manchester United and Michael Carrick. The team will need to produce improved performances, particularly against Aston Villa and Liverpool, if they want to rebuild confidence and get their season back on track.
