Ronald Araujo has been named Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month for October following an impressive run of performances since joining the Premier League club.
The Uruguay international received the award after winning the supporters' vote, having played a significant role in Liverpool's results across three competitions during the month.
Araujo started all six matches played by the Reds in October, helping the team record five victories in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Carabao Cup.
His performances demonstrated his defensive qualities, physical strength and commitment, quickly making him an important figure in Liverpool's squad.
The 27-year-old also contributed offensively, scoring twice during the month. Both goals came through headers in European victories against LASK and Villarreal, highlighting his threat from set pieces.
One of his most memorable moments came during Liverpool's Premier League encounter against Brighton & Hove Albion. Araujo produced an outstanding defensive intervention, clearing the ball with a header from inside his own penalty area.
His performance against Brighton earned him further recognition, as he was named Premier League Player of the Matchweek.
Since arriving from Barcelona on a season-long loan in the summer, the defender has adapted quickly to English football and established himself as a reliable option for Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola.
Speaking after receiving the award at the AXA Training Centre, Araujo expressed his appreciation to the supporters for their encouragement since his arrival.
He said: "I'm very grateful to them for the love that they've shown me from the first moment I arrived at the club, and what I will do is give absolutely everything for them."
The defender also acknowledged the contribution of his teammates and the coaching staff, explaining that their support had made his transition to Anfield much easier.
Araujo's latest recognition represents another positive milestone in his Liverpool career, particularly after a difficult period at Barcelona.
The Uruguayan will now hope to maintain his impressive performances and help Liverpool challenge for silverware across their remaining competitions this season.
His achievement also makes him the second Liverpool men's player to win the monthly award this season, following Jeremy Jacquet, who claimed the August and September prize.
