According to a report by Barca Universal on Friday, November 6, 2026, Barcelona are planning to renew the contracts of three additional players following Raphinha's extension until 2030, with Marc Bernal, Brian Farinas and Gerard Martin identified as the next candidates for new deals.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club are keen to secure the long-term futures of their promising young players after successfully tying down several key members of Hansi Flick's squad.
Barcelona have already reached agreements with Bernal and Farinas, while negotiations over Martin's contract are still ongoing as the club look to reward his increasing importance to the team.
Bernal's renewal is currently the closest to completion, with Barcelona agreeing to extend his existing deal, which runs until 2029, by an additional two years until June 2031. The 19-year-old midfielder has impressed the club with his development and has earned their confidence despite the recent arrival of Rodri, who adds further competition for places in midfield.
However, the official announcement of his new contract is unlikely to come immediately. A possible first senior Spain call-up following Rodri's injury, alongside Joan Laporta's upcoming visit to New York, has reportedly affected the timing of the presentation.
Bernal could be handed his first invitation to the senior national team, while Laporta is expected to attend the Johan Cruyff Memorial. As a result, Barcelona may wait until after the international break before officially confirming the midfielder's renewal.
Meanwhile, the club have also reached an agreement to extend Brian Farinas' contract, with Barcelona working towards keeping the 20-year-old at Camp Nou until 2031 rather than allowing his current deal to expire in 2028.
Farinas has gradually earned Flick's confidence after the German manager blocked his proposed summer move to Girona and decided to include him in the first-team setup. The youngster has featured in Barcelona's last two matches after making his senior debut against Alaves, further demonstrating his growing importance within the squad.
Gerard Martin is the only one of the three players whose renewal remains unresolved. The 24-year-old defender has become an increasingly valuable member of Flick's team since signing his previous contract extension, which runs until 2028, in January 2025.
Although Martin was initially viewed mainly as a left-back, he has developed into a regular centre-back under Flick, prompting Barcelona to consider offering him improved terms in recognition of his progress.
While an agreement has yet to be finalised, negotiations are not expected to present major obstacles, with Barcelona confident they can secure the defender's long-term future as part of their ongoing contract renewal plans.
