David Raya

Raya was key in Arsenal holding onto their lead. He made a number of good stops, with one coming in the 8th minute to stop Bradley Barcola. He also made a great clearance to stop Isak from getting to a dangerous cross and made a number of interceptions. His high alertness and calmness helped Arsenal deal with Liverpool's constant pressure.

Declan Rice

Rice was key in Arsenal's goal. He made a brilliant pass into the box for Havertz to score in the 16th minute. He also had a shot from outside the box in the 25th minute that forced Alisson into action.

Kai Havertz

Havertz scored the only goal of the first half for Arsenal. He received a perfect pass from Rice and calmly slotted it into the back of the net. His intelligence and calmness in front of goal was key in giving Arsenal the lead.

Noni Madueke

Madueke was very creative going forward. He made a brilliant pass to Bruno Guimaraes in the 24th minute but he just missed the target. He then created a great chance for Rice shortly afterwards.
