Final EPL Table After Manchester United Lost 3:0, Chelsea Lost 2-0 and Arsenal Won 2-0

According to a report by Sky Sports on Monday, October 26, 2026, the English Premier League standings have witnessed significant developments following another eventful weekend of football, with Manchester United suffering a heavy defeat against Bournemouth, Chelsea losing to Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal securing an important victory over Everton.

The latest results have increased the intensity of the competition at both ends of the table, particularly in the battle for the Premier League title, European qualification and survival.

Manchester United endured another disappointing afternoon at Old Trafford after Bournemouth secured an impressive 3-0 victory on Sunday. Rayan, Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson scored the goals that condemned Michael Carrick's side to another frustrating result.

The defeat leaves Manchester United occupying 16th position with seven points from eight Premier League matches. The Red Devils have managed just one victory, four draws and three defeats, raising serious concerns about their performances this season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered a frustrating 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The Blues were unable to secure a positive result despite playing in front of their supporters.

Following the defeat, Chelsea remain fifth in the league standings with 13 points from eight matches, having recorded four victories, one draw and three defeats.

Arsenal, however, continued their impressive campaign by securing a convincing 2-0 victory against Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

The victory increased Arsenal's points tally to 21 after eight matches, keeping them level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings.

Manchester City currently occupy first position with 21 points and a superior goal difference of +11, while Arsenal sit second with the same number of points but a goal difference of +8.

Manchester City's 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa provided Arsenal with an opportunity to strengthen their position in the title race.

Brighton occupy third position with 16 points, while Liverpool sit fourth with 15 points following their 2-0 victory against Brighton at Anfield.

Chelsea complete the top five with 13 points, while Brentford occupy sixth position with 11 points.

Leeds United are seventh, followed by Newcastle United in eighth position and Aston Villa in ninth. Hull City complete the top ten with 10 points.

Everton occupy 11th position, while Ipswich Town sit 12th in the standings.

Bournemouth's impressive victory against Manchester United has lifted them to 13th position with nine points, while Tottenham Hotspur remain 14th despite their important victory over Chelsea.

Fulham occupy 15th position with eight points, placing them one point ahead of Manchester United, who remain 16th.

Crystal Palace sit 17th with seven points, while Nottingham Forest and Coventry City occupy 18th and 19th positions respectively with six points each.

Sunderland remain at the bottom of the Premier League standings with five points from eight matches.

The latest table reflects the different challenges facing several Premier League clubs as the season progresses.

Arsenal are maintaining strong pressure on Manchester City in the championship race, while Liverpool, Brighton and Chelsea continue competing for places among the leading teams.

For Manchester United, their disappointing position remains a major concern, especially considering their struggles to secure victories this season.

With only seven points collected from eight matches, Carrick's side must improve their performances in the coming fixtures to move away from the relegation battle.

Meanwhile, Manchester City and Arsenal remain the leading contenders in the title race, with both clubs sitting on 21 points after eight Premier League matches.
