According to a report by Barca Universal on Wednesday November 4, 2026, Barcelona have officially confirmed that captain Raphinha will sign a new contract with the club on Thursday, November 5, extending his stay at Spotify Camp Nou until June 2030.
The announcement ends uncertainty surrounding the Brazilian international's future and secures his services for at least another three and a half seasons.
The Catalan club released an official statement confirming the arrangements for the contract signing. The ceremony will take place at 12:00pm CET in the office of club president Joan Laporta.
Raphinha will subsequently address the media at the club's Commercial Office. Barcelona described the agreement as an extension that will keep the Brazilian forward wearing their famous Blaugrana colours until June 30, 2030.
The renewal comes after an impressive start to the season from the 29-year-old. Having recently been appointed the club's first captain, Raphinha has responded with outstanding performances on the pitch.
The Brazilian has already registered 19 goals across all competitions this season. His impressive tally includes 15 goals in La Liga and another four in the Champions League.
Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022. However, his initial seasons at the club were inconsistent under former manager Xavi Hernandez.
His performances improved significantly following the appointment of Hansi Flick in 2024. The German manager has helped bring out the best in the winger, who has developed into one of Barcelona's most important attacking players.
Raphinha has also established himself as a key leadership figure within the dressing room. Alongside young sensation Lamine Yamal, the Brazilian remains central to Barcelona's attacking plans.
His new agreement represents a major boost for the Spanish champions as they look to maintain their competitiveness in domestic and European competitions.
