Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has once again demonstrated her deep appreciation for her roots, gifting a brand-new Toyota Highlander to her former grassroots coach, Emmanuel Osahon Orobosa.

FC Robo International confirmed the gift, hailing the forward for remembering the mentor who helped launch her career back in 2009.

Orobosa, the founder and head coach of FC Robo, provided a safe haven and tactical guidance for a young Oshoala at a time when she was battling for family approval to pursue professional football.

“Your presentation of a Toyota Highlander to Coach Osahon is a beautiful demonstration of gratitude and a reminder that you have not forgotten the people who played important roles in your journey,” FC Robo said in a statement.

The gift builds on Oshoala’s history of supporting FC Robo, which includes donating a club bus shortly after making her move to European football.

Now established as one of Africa’s most decorated footballers, Oshoala’s latest gesture serves as a fitting tribute to the grassroots coaches who invest in the continent’s future stars.
