Nigerian rapper and hip-hop veteran eLDee (Lanre eLDee Dabiri) has officially announced his resignation as a Manchester United fan, sharing a formal “farewell letter” stating he is parting ways with the club.

The decision came in the wake of United’s disastrous 4-1 Champions League defeat away to Como on Wednesday. A nightmare start set the tone for a miserable evening in Italy, leaving the club’s European campaign in troubled waters and sparking intense post-match scrutiny.

Taking to Instagram to announce his departure from the fan base, eLDee wrote:

“This is to formally inform you that from today, October 21, 2026, I, Lanre eLDee Dabiri, am no longer a supporter or a fan of Manchester United.”

“Good luck, Manchester United. Once a Red, Always a Red in spirit.”

His caption was equally emotional, reading: “It was good while it lasted. Goodbye 🥺 #goodbyeMUFC #mufc #manchesterunited.”
