Christos Tzolis nearing Arsenal comeback after injury setback

Arsenal winger Christos Tzolis is recovering well from his injury and could return to first-team action as early as next week, according to journalist Connor Humm.

The Greece international’s most likely comeback opportunity is either the FA Cup tie against Fleetwood or the Premier League meeting with Liverpool. Both matches are scheduled to take place during the next calendar week.

Tzolis joined Arsenal in the summer of 2026 but was injured during the first autumn international break, ruling him out for several weeks.

The 24-year-old has made eight appearances for the Gunners since arriving at the club and has registered four assists.

Arsenal’s wide options were affected again during Wednesday’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich, when Bukayo Saka picked up an injury.
