Bodo/Glimt and Lille played out a goalless draw in the Champions League as both sides struggled to create chances in a lacklustre encounter in Norway.

An uneventful first half produced just three shots, with only one on target, all of which came from the visitors.

Both sides were content to absorb pressure and remain patient in possession, but neither looked particularly threatening in attack.

It became more open in the second half but both sides still remained toothless in the final third and rarely looked like breaking the deadlock.

The result ended Bodo/Glimt's run of six consecutive home victories in European competition, which included wins against Manchester City, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

Lille had arrived in Norway following three consecutive Champions League defeats, most recently losing 4-2 at home to Galatasaray.

The draw leaves Bodo/Glimt on four points from four matches, while Lille remain without a victory and have just one point at the halfway stage of the league phase.

Bodo/Glimt host Austrian side LASK in their next Champions League fixture on 24 November (17:45 GMT), while Lille face a difficult test at home to Bayern Munich on 25 November (20:00 GMT).
