Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies began their CAF Women’s Champions League campaign with a goalless draw against Egyptian hosts FC Masar in Ismailia on Sunday, 1 November.

The result at Suez Canal Stadium leaves all four Group A teams on one point. Morocco’s FUS Rabat and Cameroon’s Lekié Football Filles also drew 0–0 in the other opening fixture.

Sundowns are seeking a third title after winning the competition in 2021 and 2023.

CAF’s match report records a 33rd-minute booking for Sundowns’ Kholosa Biyana. Coach Godfrey Sapula made substitutions in the 64th and 78th minutes, but neither team broke the deadlock.

Two semi-final places are available from the group, with no side holding a points or goal-difference advantage after the first round.

Sundowns next face Lekié on 4 November, before meeting FUS Rabat on 7 November. Both fixtures are scheduled for 14:00 SAST in CAF’s published programme.
