Super Eagles prolific striker, Victor Osimhen bagged a brace and his 8th goal of the season, as Galatasaray defeated rivals Fenerbahçe 2–1 in a thrilling Turkish Süper Lig derby at Rams Park.

Osimhen was the architect of this prestigious win, scoring twice in the 29th and 44th minutes to give Galatasaray a strong lead, before İrfan Can Kahveci’s spectacular acrobatic volley to pull one back for Fenerbahçe in the 62nd minute.

Despite late pressure, Galatasaray held on to secure a memorable derby victory.

The Nigerian joins the duo of Wesley Sneijder and Mirza Sejdic, as the only three foreign players in the Süper Lig history to score the most goals against Fenerbahçe while wearing the Galatasaray shirt.
