The new WXV Global Series has no league table or trophy attached to it - it is simply a series of Test matches.

It runs from 2026 to 2028 and features the world's top 12 teams, ensuring more competitive matches ahead of the 2029 World Cup in Australia.

"There's no tournament to win, so we can be very patient about how we go about things," said England head coach John Mitchell.

England beat Australia and New Zealand but drew with Canada in their three home fixtures, before suffering back-to-back defeats in Canada.

Next up for the Red Roses is the United States in New Jersey.

A competitive autumn is not something England have been used to.
