Algiers — Algeria head coach Ibrahim Hemdani has announced a 26-man squad for the national team’s two Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027 qualifying matches against Togo in November.
The squad, unveiled on Thursday, 5 November, features Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ibrahim Maza and Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa among the notable names.
Algeria will host the first encounter on 14 November at the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou before travelling to Lomé for the return fixture on 17 November.
Maza, who has impressed with his creativity in midfield, is included alongside Marseille forward Amine Gouiri, Mohamed Amine Amoura, Adil Boulbina and Amin Chiakha.
Borussia Dortmund defender Ramy Bensebaini, Lille midfielder Nabil Bentaleb and Eintracht Frankfurt's Farès Chaïbi also feature in the squad.

Manchester City defender Rayan Aït-Nouri, Paris FC midfielder Ilan Kebbal and Union Saint-Gilloise midfielder Adam Zorgane are among the notable absentees. Goalkeeper Luca Zidane has also been left out, with reports indicating that the decision was based on sporting considerations.
