Aston Villa's Matty Cash, speaking to TNT Sports post-match, on facing Jeremy Doku: "The manager gives us tasks but you have to take responsibility too, I do a lot of work on wingers, I think as a full back you have to try and get aggressive and it makes them difficult for them. I thought I did my task well. Getting close to him is the biggest challenge. I was watching clips of him this morning."
On goalkeeper Suzuki: "He's brilliant, his first session when he came in, in the possession drill I thought we'd signed a midfielder. His vision is unbelievable, he catches crosses really well which as a full-back is a dream."
On Nicolas Jackson: "Everyone has been really impressed with him. His quality is unbelievable, as a striker he wants goals and he's getting that."
On Villa's slow start to the season: "We had a lot of change at the start of the season, it was going to take time to gel and get comfortable with each other. Unai Emery is brilliant, having him stay is the main priority for us."
Manchester City have four minutes plus added time to salvage their unbeaten season.
Interesting change.

Never in doubt for the big man, just give Erling Haaland the service and he'll score.
He's too big and too strong.
City have made 27 touches in the opposition box against Aston Villa, the most by any side in the first half of a Premier League game this season.
Nothing to show for it so far.
Another save from the very busy Zion Suzuki.
This time from unlikely source Abdukodir Khusanov. A low, drilled effort saved down to his right.
Aston Villa with an early break and they will try to put some early pressure on.
Johan Manzambi is released but Marc Guehi gets there first.
Of course, we know the outcome of Manchester City's breach of Premier League rules is still looming large and therefore we don't know what all of this means or whether it matters.
But, is it time to give manager Enzo Maresca some credit for his handling of the situation?
Whatever your feelings on the situation, it's fair to say the Italian boss has handled it all pretty well. It is no easy task to follow Pep Guardiola but Maresca has fielded questions from the media well, handled the situation admirably and all while producing on the pitch.
The football has been surprisingly entertaining, given his previous history at Chelsea and Leicester where he was not known for his thrilling style. And City have got a perfect record in the Premier League so far.
No one could replace Guardiola, but City fans must be pleased with their new man so far.
