Flamingos head coach, Akeem Busari has said it is important for his side to covert chances against Mexico, DAILY POST reports.
Nigeria will take on the North Americans in a Round of 16 encounter at the ongoing 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Rabat on Thursday.
The Flamingos scored six goals during the group stage, and conceded three times.
With the competition now at the crucial stage, Busari said it is important for his players to be more clinical in front of goal.
“We know there is no second chance, and we let the players know why it is important to take their opportunities once and for all," Busari told the team's media.
The encounter will kick-off at 4pm Nigerian time.
