Monday's episode of Wolves Express reflects on a mixed weekend of results for the Old Gold's men's and women's first-teams.
Hearing first from Cesar Peixoto, the head coach discusses Saturday's 1-0 Championship win over Watford at Molineux, and talks about how he was pleased with the first-half display from his side, but knows there needs to be improvements in captailising on their dominance.
Adam Armstrong also features on the podcast as he chats about getting among the goals once again in his first game back from injury. The striker has missed the last few games due to a back issue, but he found the net with the vital goal against the Hornets and explains why this goal will give him confidence going foward.
Wolves Women manager Dan McNamara and striker Amber Hughes are also on hand to discuss Sunday afternoon's WSL 2 defeat away at Bristol City. McNamara believes the result provides a 'reality check' to his players, although they have to quickly turn their focus to Wednesday night's Subway Players Cup fixture at home to WSL outfit Brighton & Hove Albion.
But having faced one of the pre-season favourites for the WSL 2 title at the weekend, Hughes - who scored both of the Old Gold's goals - hopes the players will take the positives from their performance as they face another top opponent in midweek.
