Nicolas Jackson has celebrated his brace after firing Aston Villa to a 2-1 win over Manchester City. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

Praising Unai Emery, his teammates and the fans for their constant support on and off the pitch, Jackson stated that he considers goalscoring a part of his job at Aston Villa.

The Senegalese striker added that the victory against City was incredibly difficult to pull off.

His words, “It’s my work, so I’m very happy to do it every time. Hopefully I’m injury-free, and then I will continue working for the coach and the team.

I’m very happy, you know. Most importantly, I’m very happy with the manager, with the players in the team, and the fans. It’s not easy, but easier because of the coach and the players, of course. It’s an incredible dressing room, an incredible manager.

Incredible, difficult, you know, but we got the win, that was the most important. We know it’s a very strong team, they are the leaders, so we are very happy we got the win. Thank God we got the first win at home in the league.”
