SEDIBENG.- Former Sekhukhune United forward, Tshediso ‘Bashemane’ Tshehla, kept supporters on the edge of their seats when he came off the bench for Boipatong FC.

Tshehla came off the bench as Boipatong FC was trailing 2-1 against Tshwane South College in the ABC Motsepe League’s Stream B match at Boipatong Stadium on Saturday. He entered the field and immediately made an impact.

Sadly, the visitors extended the lead when they scored a third goal to make it 3-1.

At this stage, it seemed that Boipatong FC would never recover, but Tshehla and his company stunned the crowd when the game ended in 3-3.

Every time Tshehla touched the ball, the crowd was on its feet. It was an end-to-end affair, with both sides cancelling each other out in attack. Tshehla’s introduction inspired Boipatong FC to bounce back into the game.

He made some exciting passes, finding his teammates in the final third. This is the same performance that made Tshehla popular for Sekhukhune United in the DStv Diski Challenge.

Many thought the coach should have started the game with Tshehla instead of bringing him on as a substitute. When he came off the bench, he started to play and put the touches together to hurt the opponents.

This game will remain a highlight of the season.
