The Arizona Wildcats were ranked #25 this past week and hosted the Iowa State Cyclones in a homecoming match-up at Casino del Sol Stadium in Tucson.
The fans filled the stadium and watched the Wildcats in a dominant performance as they went on to defeat the visiting Cyclones 39-3.
Wildcat head coach Brent Brennan bought 1,000 game tickets prior to the contest and the tickets were resold for $10 each in an effort to pack the stands.
It worked, as there weren't many open spots in a sea of red.
Sunday, the Wildcats moved up three spots in the NCAA rankings to #22 overall and have officially qualified for a bowl game.
Next up on the calendar for Arizona is #13 Texas Tech who is coming off a stunning 37-24 loss against the unranked Cincinnati.
The Wildcats can be watched on ESPN or ABC this Saturday, Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. MST.
