Nana Adarkwa names unchanged XI for Canada clash

Black Maidens head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa has named an unchanged starting XI for Ghana's decisive FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Group B clash against Canada.

Adarkwa has kept faith with the same team that drew 3-3 with Brazil in the second group match, as Ghana seeks a must-win victory to stay in the competition.

Belinda Aku Aklie maintains her place in goal, with Rafia Osman, Hajara Adam, Latifa Musah and Seraphina Esse Essenam forming the back four.

Salamatu Wahab and Player of the Match against Brazil, Jessica Appiah, will operate in the middle of the park, while Gloria Ameaa and Sekinatu Amadu provide width on the wings.

Cynthia Obinsrewuo will lead the line alongside Getrude Juliana in attack.

The Black Maidens face Canada on Saturday, October 24, at 3:00pm GMT at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco, needing victory to keep their qualification hopes alive.
