Since June 2026, Hamza Bahdoul has been working as the Liberia national team’s Head of Sports Performance, beginning a new international chapter in his career.
Bahdoul graduated from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the University of Lorraine in France, where he specialised in high-performance engineering. He is also continuing his academic work as a doctoral researcher in the development of sports performance.
His professional background includes several roles in high-level sport. He has worked with the Comite National Olympique Marocain and Kawkab Athletique Club de Marrakech, gaining experience across both sports administration and elite competition environments.
He is now applying that scientific knowledge and practical experience to the Liberian national team’s football programme.
His responsibilities include monitoring the players’ physical condition, analysing performance data, managing training loads and helping to improve performance at both individual and collective level.
The appointment gives Bahdoul an opportunity to combine sports science with elite football in an international setting. It also marks a significant stage in his professional development after his academic training in France and previous work in Morocco.
