Liverpool suffered a 3-2 defeat by Fenerbahce in the Champions League on Wednesday as their inconsistencies continued.
The Reds were beaten by a former club legend in the opposing dugout, Dirk Kuyt, who now manages the Turkish Super Lig side.
Mason Greenwood, Archie Brown and Vedat Muriqi got the goals for the hosts, while Trey Nyoni and Alexander Isak were on target for the visitors.
It was Andoni Iraola’s first European defeat of his tenure in the Liverpool dugout, but he was dealt a further blow on a disappointing evening in Istanbul.
Here is all the latest Liverpool injury news and return dates.
Dutch midfielder Gravenberch has had an injury-hit campaign so far this term.
He missed out on the travelling squad to Turkey as a result of a fracture in his heel, with Iraola providing an update ahead of the trip to the Chobani Stadium.
“I don’t know, it’s a day-to-day thing,” he said.
“It’s a fracture of the heel. It’s about the pain. He has been with some discomfort.
“The other day against Arsenal he was warming up and he was not fully confident. He hasn’t improved since then.
“But it’s going to be something that every day we ask him, every day we see how he is. If he can be available for the weekend, lovely, he would be a very good help for us. But I cannot tell you right now.”
Potential return date: Sunday November 8, vs Crystal Palace (A)
Frimpong picked up a muscle injury playing against Brentford last month, in another lay-off for the full-back since his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen.
The attack-minded right-back is not expected to be back until after the upcoming international break, meaning he will have missed six matches in a row.
On the Dutch international, Iraola said: “Jeremie Frimpong is obviously a new muscle injury and it happened, I think, in the second or third minute he was playing, difficult to predict and we will have to wait until he recovers.

“But it’s going to be difficult, I think, before the [November international] break. We will try but it’s going to be difficult to have him.”

Leoni signed for Liverpool from Parma last summer in a deal worth around £26million, but a serious knee injury means he has been limited to just one senior appearance so far.
The centre-back made his debut in the Carabao Cup against Southampton in September, but he was stretchered off and it was later confirmed that he had suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear.
He was expected to miss a full year of action, which has proved to be the case.

He had hoped to have made his comeback for the recent September international break, but that has since been delayed.
“It’s taking more time than we wanted,” Iraola said. “The planning was to train with the team in this past international break [but] probably it’s going to be in the next international break, so we’ve lost one month in the process.
“Giovanni’s injury, I wasn’t here but talking to the medical department, it was not just an ACL – it was a bad injury, a lot of things around the knee were involved apart from the ACL.”
Potential return date: December 2026
Ekitike has not played since rupturing his Achilles against Paris Saint-Germain in April.
The Frenchman was forced to sit out the end of last season and the World Cup, where it was estimated that he would be out for nine months to a full year.
He was included in Iraola’s squad for the Champions League league phase - which came as a surprise to many - with the hope that he could potentially return for the final two games in January, against Inter Milan and Lens.

The striker is thought to be targeting a comeback before the turn of the year.
Potential return date: December
Right-back Bradley is another long-term absentee for Liverpool, having suffered a serious knee injury at Arsenal back in January.
The Northern Ireland international suffered bone and ligament damage in that match, which has kept him out for almost a year.
Iraola’s latest comments were positive, indicating that Bradley will soon return to full training.
“[He is] doing very well,” Iraola said. “I think [he is] in a good place. Conor is not so far from training with the group – not like full training but doing some things with the group.
“I think Conor is not very far from starting doing things with us."
It looks as though he could rejoin team training during the November international break.
