Alternate footage of Chelsea's first goal in their Premier League clash against Manchester United has emerged courtesy of the referee cam - and it shows that at least two players were at fault.
Romeo Lavia won the ball in midfield before finding Morgan Rogers, who ran at United's defence from just beyond halfway before flicking the ball over goalkeeper Senne Lammens and into the net.
It was a damaging blow for United, who had been the better side in the first half but could not find the opener - and things got worse minutes later in the second half when Lisandro Martinez gave away a penalty and was sent off. Cole Palmer converted the penalty to make it 2-0.
Martinez had hardly had the best game up until the point of his sending off; he had failed to close Rogers down in the build-up to Chelsea's first goal and stop him from getting his shot away.
The Argentinian was praised by many United fans for calling out the club's hierarchy, specifically technical director Jason Wilcox, after United's 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League earlier this month, but hasn't backed up his words with strong individual performances on the pitch.
Martinez was not the only player at fault for the opener, though. Harry Maguire also failed to close down Rogers and was instead left to simply watch on from behind as the Chelsea attacking midfielder put the ball into the back of the net.
But also among the culprits was Andrey Santos, with the referee cam showing that he attempted to perform a slide tackle on Rogers but missed the Chelsea man by a number of yards.
Whether the Brazilian had decided, after beginning to commit the tackle, that he wasn't going to get there is unclear, but the fact he slid in gave him no chance of supporting his defence in stopping Rogers from putting Chelsea ahead.
Reacting to the clip, one fan wrote: "That Santos slide in the ref cam angle of the Chelsea goal is properly comical."
"Just seen the ref cam footage of the goal, who was Santos sliding at?" another asked.
"The ref cam on Santos' 'slide tackle'," a third wrote.
While a fourth pleaded. "Someone clip the ref cam on Rogers' goal. Santos..."
But the rest of United's defence didn't escape criticism, with another writing: "The ref cam of the Rogers goal is so damning. The defence was practically just doing guard of honour for him."
