Tottenham Hotspur have communicated what sort of formula they would accept in a potential deal to sign Endrick from Real Madrid, as the Brazilian seeks to find a way out of the Spanish capital.
The 20-year-old starlet has found game time extremely hard to come by this season since returning on loan from Lyon, where he excelled last season.
It has been widely reported that Endrick’s name is one of a few on Tottenham’s striker shortlist, as De Zerbi’s men look to add some firepower to their forward line in January.
Spurs are thought to be keeping a close eye on the Brazilian’s situation as they draft their transfer plans, but the former boss, Jose Mourinho, has vowed to deny Tottenham’s transfer desire.
Mourinho said a couple of weeks ago about the young striker: “Mark my words again, it is impossible for Endrick to be loaned out”.
CaughtOffside have now confirmed that Spurs are one of the clubs showing an interest in swooping for the former Palmeiras starlet in the winter.
The report claims that Endrick’s representatives are already sounding out suitors ahead of January as they look to manufacture a move out of Madrid.
The Brazilian international’s camp are concerned about the lack of minutes, but Madrid have no desire to let the young striker leave in January.
Mourinho and club president Florentino Perez want the player to come good at the Santiago Bernabeu, and this threatens to become a ‘big problem’ between Endrick and his club.
The interest in the striker’s services is growing as the January window nears, with the Lilywhites joined by two other Premier League clubs in the race.
CaughtOffside say that while Arsenal have historically held an interest in the 20-year-old, they are now not actively pursuing the player ahead of the January window.
The three clubs with the most ‘stronger and concrete interest’ in Endrick are Spurs, Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
All three clubs are willing to sign the Madrid star on a straight loan deal in the upcoming transfer window, while the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are only showing interest in a loan deal with an option/obligation to buy.
The website concludes that while nothing is advancing for the moment, Endrick could end up sealing a loan move to one of the Lilywhites, Villans or the Magpies in January.
