Today's Premier League - Matchday 8 - Sunday, October 25, 2026

The Premier League continues today with five crucial fixtures to close Matchweek 8, all under the cloud of Storm Austen.

The action starts at 2pm BST with a four-game slate. The headline is at Old Trafford where Manchester United host Bournemouth. Michael Carrick's United are desperate to end a seven-game winless run, while Bournemouth arrive with momentum after beating AC Milan 3-0 in Europe.

At the same time, Liverpool face Brighton at Anfield and Crystal Palace take on Newcastle United at Selhurst Park. Palace vs Newcastle is live on USA Network, while Liverpool vs Brighton, Hull vs Brentford and United vs Bournemouth are all on Peacock at 10am ET.

Hull City vs Brentford at the MKM Stadium is a first ever Premier League meeting between the newly promoted Tigers and the Bees

The day finishes with a big northern clash: Sunderland vs Leeds United at 4:30pm at the Stadium of Light. Both are looking to climb away from the bottom.

Weather alert: All four northern games today - Hull, Liverpool, Manchester and Sunderland - are under a yellow warning with gusts of 50-63mph forecast, though no postponements have been announced yet.
