We start with some positive news for football fans across the country. Yesterday, President William Ruto announced that German club Bayern Munich will play the opening match at the new Raila Odinga International Stadium against Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam in Nairobi.

Moving on from football and into the ever evolving world of politics, Rigathi Gachagua believes the government could force a false Ebola pandemic which would see a lockdown enforced in the country.
Speaking on the Ebola issue that has rocked the country in the past few weeks, the Former Deputy President claimed he has spoken to individuals close to the situation.
He says that this could be used to make the opposition tone down on their campaigns as they seek to oust the sitting president in next year's general election.

Finally, Molo Member of Parliament Kuria Kimani has declared that he could defect to Rigathi Gachagua's DCP Party if they win next year's general election.
Kimani who is a close ally of President Ruto and chairs the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning said he would shamelessly jump ship without hesitation. His exact reply to the question on whether he would defect was 'In the morning.'
In his defense he claimed that this has been a trend over the years where politicians shift allegiances especially after general elections. He would not be the first nor the last to do so.
Kimani pointed to the Orange Democratic Movement Party (ODM) which has been primarily an opposition party but has since joined hands with the government and now work closely together.
