The race for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League Golden Boot remains wide open, with six players tied on four goals each after the completion of Matchday Three.
Harry Kane and Luis Suárez joined the leading group following their latest performances, bringing them level with Ermedin Demirović, Serhou Guirassy, Erling Haaland and Nicolò Tresoldi.
The six forwards have emerged as the early contenders for the competition’s top-scoring award, although the league phase still has five matchdays remaining.
Kane has maintained his scoring consistency for Bayern Munich, finding the net in every Champions League appearance this season.
His goal against Arsenal extended his run to ten consecutive matches with a goal in the competition.
Suárez has also scored in each of Sporting CP’s three matches. However, his latest two-goal contribution was not enough to prevent Sporting from losing 3-2 to LASK.
Haaland remains among the leaders despite missing Manchester City’s third match.
The Norwegian striker scored twice in each of the club’s opening two games, taking his tally to four goals.
Demirović and Tresoldi have each recorded a hat-trick during the campaign, while Guirassy has scored twice in matches against Villarreal and Sabah.
Their contributions have kept the leading group tightly packed after three rounds of fixtures.
Ten players are just one goal behind the leaders on three goals apiece.
The group includes Manchester City’s Phil Foden, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé, Liverpool’s Bradley Barcola and Alexis Mac Allister, Aston Villa’s Nicolas Jackson and Ross Barkley, Ousmane Dembélé and Ferran Torres of Paris, Como’s Tasos Douvikas and Roma’s Donyell Malen.
