England manager Thomas Tuchel has left Chelsea forward Cole Palmer out of his 25-man squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain.
Palmer is among the notable absentees from the squad announced on Friday, November 6, as Tuchel prepares his side for their final two group-stage fixtures of 2026.
The 24-year-old had withdrawn from England's previous international camp in September and October due to a fitness concern. His latest omission comes after Tuchel previously expressed frustration over the midfielder missing opportunities to represent his country because of injuries.
Palmer has scored five goals and provided three assists in 11 appearances for Chelsea this season but will have to wait until next year for another opportunity to feature for the Three Lions.
One of the major highlights of Tuchel's selection is the inclusion of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham, who has received his first senior England call-up.
The 21-year-old will join his older brother Jude Bellingham in the national squad after impressing for Dortmund and England's youth teams.
Fulham midfielder Josh King has also earned his maiden senior call-up, having previously been involved in England's pre-World Cup training camp.
There are also returns for Arsenal defender Ben White, Inter Milan full-back Djed Spence and Declan Rice, who missed the previous camp through injury.
Meanwhile, Manchester City forward Phil Foden and Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo have also been left out.
England will host Croatia at Wembley Stadium on Thursday, November 12, before travelling to Madrid to face Spain on Sunday, November 15.
The matches are the Three Lions' final group-stage assignments of the 2026 UEFA Nations League campaign, with Tuchel's side seeking to secure their place in the quarter-finals.
