Former UFC fighter fights six family members in one night in insane MMA match-up

A former UFC star knocked out SIX fighters from the same family in a bizarre MMA match-up.

Makhmud Muradov, who had seven fights for UFC, became the world's first mixed martial artist signed by Floyd Mayweather's 'The Money Team' back in 2012.

14 years on and the Uzbek competed for G MMA in easily the most outrageous fight of his career.

Former UFC fighter beats six opponents from same family

In a truly shocking spectacle, Muradov faced off in the gauntlet-type encounter - squaring off against the Kotlar family in consecutive fights.

In a face-off before hand, the Kotlars had demanded a change in rules - requesting that two of them be in the cage against Muradov at the same time.

That was denied due to safety and legal reasons and instead members of the Kotlar family were substituted in.

The largest member of the Kotlar clan was the very first opponent but he got out of very early after a single leg kick knocked him to the floor.

More and more Kotlars were dealt with in easy fashion by Muradov, who barely broke a sweat as he defeated all six men in less than two minutes.

The 36-year-old's combination of wrestling and striking proved too much for the Kotlars, who had been "I really want to hurt you" and "I'm going to beat you up and punish you for a whole minute until you're begging" in a chilling pre-match warning from Muradov.

He had his hand raised without a single graze as all six of his opponents stood in the cage for the result.

The MMA promotion has a knock for 'freak show' matches, with one bout seeing two policemen take on two football hooligans in a tag-team bout as well as knightly duel.

What next for Makhmud Muradov after craziest win of his career?

Muradov made his debut for UFC back in 2019 and won his first three bouts before suffering back-to-back defeats. He returned to winning ways and then his next fight was ruled a no contest after he was on the receiving end of an accidental eye poke.

Since then, Muradov has been prolific in the Oktagon MMA promotion and won all four of his encounters - two of which were stoppages.

His latest win saw him claim the Oktagon light heavyweight title with a TKO win over Will Fleury and he is now bidding to become a two-time champion in the division.

Having come through unscathed, Muradov is scheduled to face off against Krzysztof Jotko for the Oktagon middleweight championship in December.

The bout will be contested under traditional rules for Muradov's fifth appearance in Oktagon.
