Alessio Dionisi discusses importance of remembrance

The Hornets face Norwich on Saturday, in the early kick-off, which will be the Canaries' final home game before Remembrance Sunday.

As such, the game at Carrow Road has been marked as Norwich's remembrance fixture, and there will be a period of silence, as well as a rendition of the Last Post, ahead of kick-off.

Speaking ahead of the game, Dionisi spoke passionately about the importance of remembering the difficult events associated with the day, and urged supporters to do the same.

"I know on Saturday there will be a good moment to remember 1918, the end of the First World War," the Italian head coach noted.

"It's better for me to speak about my team, but for England, and the world, it's important to remember this because if we speak about the football now, I'm sorry, because now there are other difficult situations for some countries, and it's not easy for them."

The action will get underway at Carrow Road from 12:30pm GMT on Saturday, 31 October, and, as well as pre-match tributes, fans can donate to the Poppy Appeal via collectors around the ground.
