5 ex-Broncos players now play for Cardinals

Denver Broncos fans will recognize a few familiar faces on the Arizona Cardinals' sideline when the Broncos take on the Cards in Glendale this weekend.

On defense, Arizona has pass rusher Baron Browning, who was acquired from Denver ahead of the 2024 NFL trade deadline. The Broncos received a sixth-round draft pick for Browning in 2024, and he has totaled five sacks in 29 games with the Cardinals since then.

On offense, Arizona starts Elijah Wilkinson at right tackle. Wilkinson originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of UMass with Denver in 2017. He spent the first four years of his career with the Broncos, appearing in 45 games with 26 starts.

On special teams, the Cardinals have long snapper Casey Kreiter, who held that position in Denver from 2016-2019.

Arizona also has two more ex-Broncos players on their practice squad: cornerback Art Green and offensive lineman Demontrey Jacobs. Green and Jacobs both signed with Denver as UDFAs in 2023.
