He has slowly been ramping up his fitness at Celtic - so is now finally the time for Jota to start for Martin O'Neill?
The Portuguese star suffered a career-threatening ACL injury at Tannadice in April last year, ruling him out for the whole of last season. The 27-year-old spent the past year rehabbing his injury in Lisbon before reporting back to Lennoxtown in July - and beat the planned club timeline to return finally make his first appearances under O'Neill this month.
The wide man was handed the full second half against Hearts last week and looked to be back to his best as he caused havoc from the Jambos' defence. But O'Neill, Shaun Maloney and the staff have repeatedly promised they would wrap the wide man in cotton wool and not rush him back. Is he ready, or could the coaching team be forced to roll the dice?
Callum Osmand has been given a run on the wing - but only lasted 58 minutes of the Europa League clash with Celta Vigo before going down with cramp. After a horror run of his own with injury, the 20-year-old has played a total to 148 minutes across three appearances in seven days - and it could be a time for a breather against Hibs.
But after two goals against Hearts last weekend, it's a big call to pull the forward from the team with the team in need of results. Despite sitting four points clear at the top of the table, Celtic have lost five of their last seven games in all competitions - and a defeat in Leith would take the club to a record low-point.
And defeat to Marink Reedijk's rock-bottom side would match the dismal record that saw Wilfried Nancy shown the door just eight games into his tenure.
Yang is already missing with injury and O'Neill will be looking to shake things up and spark a reaction to the loss at Easter Road. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston have both returned to training - but the weekend's game looks to have come too early for the duo.
Therefore, the same back four that started the midweek loss to the La Liga side is expected - with Colby Donovan, Dane Murray, Liam Scales and Kieran Tierney starting. Auston Trusty has been given time away, following the sad passing of his father. Sam Johnstone was handed a surprise start in midweek, but Viljami Sinisalo is expected to return between the sticks in the only shift to the defensive unit.
One man who could miss out again is Kasper Hogh. The £11million record-signing did little to boost his case for a start in his midweek appearance off the bench, with Camilo Duran expected to lead the line again for the Scottish champions.
Haissem Hassan has caught the eye going forward, but the criticism of the summer recruit is his defensive duties. Sebastian Tounekti presents another option for O'Neill - but it's likely he will opt to stick with the Egyptian and pile the pressure on their struggling hosts.
The midfield unit is beginning to have a familiar look to it with Celtic skipper Callum McGregor and Mika Baur anchoring the engine room, while Benjamin Nygren acts as the playmaker in the attacking third. Oliver Sorensen has also been given a chance in recent weeks by O'Neill - and could land the nod ahead of Nygren this time around as the Parma loanee looks to ramp up his minutes.
A predicted Celtic team to face Hibs
Predicted XI: Sinisalo, Donovan, Scales, Murray, Tierney, Baur, McGregor, Sorensen, Duran, Hassan, Jota.
