Tyler Booker had to know a fine was coming. On Saturday, the bill came due.
The Cowboys right guard absolutely blew up Packers safety Javon Bullard during Sunday night's matchup, which Dallas eventually lost by a 23-13 final. Problem was, that hit came square in the back, well after the whistle had blown, and right in front of an official.
The moment came in the fourth quarter, at the end of an 11-yard 4th-down completion to wide receiver Ryan Flournoy. As several Green Bay defenders held up Flournoy's forward progress, Booker rushed in and headbutted Bullard in the back.
Booker was flagged 15 yards for unnecessary roughness in the moment. Now he's been fined $11,941 by the league for the egregious late hit. The NFL released its list of Week 6 fines on Saturday; Booker was the only Cowboys player docked.
Looking at the replay, the second-year man is probably fortunate that he wasn't ejected, an option that would have been at the discretion of officials and the league.
Booker's fine brings the 2026 team total to $84,402.
According to the league, collected fines are donated to the Professional Athletes Foundation to support Legends in need and the NFL Foundation to further support the health, safety and wellness of athletes across all levels, including youth football and the communities that support the game.
