Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy will work under a new manager at Burnley after Nicky Hayen was sacked after just 14 games in charge.
Hayen joined the club in July after the Clarets were relegated from the Premier League, replacing Scott Parker. However, Burnley are currently 22nd in the Championship following Saturday's 4-1 loss at Lincoln City.
The Belgian was appointed after winning the Pro League title with Club Brugge in 2024 and was brought in to oversee promotion. However, he had managed just one league win and lost six - four more than they managed in total the last time they were in the Championship.

Vardy joined Burnley five games into the new season and has started just two games for Burnley. He scored his first goal for the club in the 2-1 home defeat to Wolves 10 days ago, but was out of the squad completely at Lincoln.
The Foxes favourite will now work under a new manager and faces the possible threat of a surprise relegation battle in the second tier.

Former Rangers and Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard is one of the early favourites to take over at Turf Moor, with Carlos Corberan and Dave Challinor close behind. Both Corberan and Challinor have also been linked with the Sheffield Wednesday job after Henrik Pedersen was sacked on Sunday.
His final match was a 2-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers in a South Yorkshire derby on Saturday, with fans turning on the 48-year-old at full-time.
