Here's our stars from major Notre Dame win over Miami (FL)

No. 6 Notre Dame beat No, 1 Miami (FL) 31-24 in a nail-biter that came down to the final play on Saturday.

The Fighting Irish were in control in the first half before the Hurricanes punched back in the second half. Notre Dame hung on for the win, which might've been necessary to keep its playoff hopes alive.

Here now are the five Notre Dame stars from the game.

5 ⭐️ - CJ Carr

I went back and forth on where to put Carr -- he and wide receiver Micah Gilbert were duking it out. I'll give the final nod to Carr, who finished 29-of-40 for 319 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

4 ⭐️ - Micah Gilbert

Gilbert had a huge night, with two receiving touchdowns, nine catches for 98 yards, and a long of 20 yards.

3 ⭐️ - Jordan Faison

The reliable wide receiver had a huge 56-yard punt return, a touchdown, and six catches for 77 yards, with a long of 27.

2 ⭐️ - Nolan James Jr.

James continues to seal the starting role, with a touchdown and several key runs, plus a huge 36-yard pass reception.

1 ⭐️ - Luke Talich

Notre Dame safety Luke Talich (28) celebrates with safety Adon Shuler (8) after a Talich sack during a NCAA football game against Michigan State at Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, in South Bend.

Talich's interception made for a major momentum swing, and he knocked the ball loose on what looked like a possible game-tying touchdown for the Hurricanes. He also had six tackles, four of which were solo.
