Arsenal travel to the Czech Republic on Wednesday night looking to continue their impressive Champions League campaign when they take on Slavia Prague at the Fortuna Arena.

Mikel Arteta's side arrive in confident mood after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield, a result that sent the Gunners back to the top of the Premier League.

They have also made a strong start in Europe, collecting seven points from their opening three league-phase matches.

The hosts, meanwhile, will be desperate to make home advantage count as they look for their first Champions League victory of the campaign. The Czech side have picked up just one point from their opening three matches, although they showed plenty of character in their previous European outing by fighting back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Fenerbahce.

Arsenal will be favourites to take all three points, but Arteta will be wary of the threat posed by a Slavia side that have been difficult to beat on home soil.

Here is everything you need to know.

Team news

Slavia Prague

Slavia have several selection concerns heading into Wednesday's contest. Tomas Chory is suspended, while Igoh Ogbu remains sidelined with an Achilles injury. Elias Pitak and Adonija Ouanda are also expected to miss out.

Lukas Provod is a doubt with an injury, while goalkeeper Jakub Markovic faces a late fitness test. Ivan Schranz has also been dealing with illness, leaving the hosts with a number of decisions to make before kick-off.

Arsenal

Bukayo Saka will miss the trip with a quadriceps injury, dealing another blow to Arsenal's attacking options. William Saliba has returned to training following a back problem, but his availability remains uncertain, with Arteta unlikely to take unnecessary risks with the defender. The French defender has travelled, though.

Eberechi Eze is also a doubt after struggling with an unspecified injury, although he has returned to training. Max Dowman is available for European selection despite serving a domestic suspension, while Noni Madueke and Christos Tzolis will need to be carefully managed following their recent injury returns.

Arteta could make changes following the victory at Anfield, with Ben White, Piero Hincapie, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Viktor Gyokeres among those pushing for starting places.
