Como equalled the record for the most goals scored in a single Champions League game as they thrashed Lens 9-1.

Anastasios Douvikas led the scoring with a hat-trick for the Serie A side, while Nico Paz kept up his fine form with a goal and two assists.

Lucas Da Cunha, Marc-Oliver Kempf, Mattia Liberali, Martin Baturina and Matteo Papaccioli also scored in a spellbinding display.

Cesc Fabregas' team have now won three of their four matches in their maiden campaign in the top tier of European football.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid maintained their 100 per cent start to the Champions League campaign after beating AEK Athens 3-2 in Greece.

Federico Valverde netted the winner in the second minute of added time after a thrilling contest.

Aboubakary Koita had opened the scoring for the hosts in the 12th minute before Jude Bellingham scored a stylish equaliser 20 minutes later.

Stavros Pilios fired the hosts back in front with 15 minutes remaining, only for Kylian Mbappe to bring Real Madrid level less than three minutes after that.

It was heartbreak for Athens when Real Madrid captain Valverde completed the turnaround.

Over in Czechia, Viktor Gyokeres made the most of a rare start with a goal and an assist as Arsenal beat Slavia Prague 2-1.

The Swedish forward also set up Noni Madueke for Arsenal’s opening goal of the night as the Gunners moved up to third in the Champions League table.

It was a disappointing night for Liverpool, though, as they suffered their first defeat of the campaign, going down 3-2 at Fenerbahce.

Vedat Muriqi scored the winner for the Turkish side in the 79th minute after Liverpool had twice been in front.

Scott McTominay found the net but Napoli suffered a 4-1 defeat to Porto, who had lost their first three games in the competition.

Club Brugge are up to ninth after a 2-1 win at PSV.

Konstantinos Karetsas struck a 72nd-minute winner as Borussia Dortmund beat Real Betis 2-1.

Erik Botheim bagged a brace as Viking secured their first triumph with a 4-1 win over 10-man Sabah.
