Chesterfield cruised to a 5-1 home victory over Crewe following an impressive performance - with all their goals arriving in the first half.
Josh Koroma, Tom Naylor, Fraser Bryden and Liam Mandeville netted for the hosts, with Josh Stephenson also scoring an own goal. Charlie McNeill grabbed Crewe's solitary reply.
Koroma opened the scoring after only three minutes, meeting Mandeville's low cross, Naylor made it 2-0 three minutes later with a close-range finish and Bryden added a third in the 19th minute with a header.
Stephenson put the ball in his own net from Dilan Markanday's cross in the 35th minute and Mandeville made it 5-0 in time added on at the end of the half when his cross floated over the head of goalkeeper Tom Booth.
McNeill pulled a goal back for Crewe in the 57th minute as Alex suffered a second defeat of the week, having been unbeaten in the league before then.
