The Alabama Crimson Tide passed one of their toughest tests of the season Saturday with a 31-13 road win at LSU.

A game with CFP implications, Alabama took the field in Tiger Stadium as an underdog, but ended up rarely trailing against LSU. The Crimson Tide jumped out to an early lead, and did not trail until late in the third quarter when LSU took a 13-10 lead.

After that, Alabama then proceeded to go on a 21-0 run over the remainder of the contest, with quarterback Keelon Russell throwing a trio of touchdown passes as the Tide dominated down the stretch. Alabama's defense was also a major story Saturday in Baton Rouge with a number of huge stops in key moments, while the Crimson Tide held LSU to a combined 5-of-19 on third and fourth downs as well, along with forcing a pair of turnovers.
