Real Madrid Superstar Wins Man of The Match Award After His Superb Display

According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Jude Bellingham delivered an outstanding performance as Real Madrid claimed a convincing 3-0 victory over Racing Santander, with the England international playing a major role in the result.

The midfielder scored Madrid's second goal and made several important contributions in attack, helping the visitors build a comfortable lead before the interval.

Real Madrid began the match strongly and went ahead in the 11th minute after Matteo Prati fouled an opponent inside the penalty area. Referee Jose Munuera awarded a penalty, which Kylian Mbappe confidently converted to put the visitors in front.

Bellingham had almost doubled Madrid's advantage three minutes earlier after meeting a lofted cross inside the box. However, Racing Santander goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala made an excellent save to deny his header.

The Englishman eventually found the net in the 21st minute. Arda Guler delivered a clever pass through the Racing Santander defence, allowing Bellingham to enter the penalty area before calmly placing his effort beyond the goalkeeper.

His intelligent movement, attacking awareness and ability to find space continued to trouble the home side. He also remained influential after the break, forcing Agirrezabala into another save in the 63rd minute after reacting quickly to a cross inside the box. His low attempt towards the centre of the goal was stopped by the goalkeeper.

Madrid further increased their lead in the 36th minute through Yan Diomande, who produced a brilliant long-range finish after collecting a rebound outside the penalty area.

Bellingham nearly added another goal during stoppage time, but his effort was ruled out for offside. Despite missing that opportunity, he continued to play an important role in Madrid's performance, linking up effectively with Guler and Mbappe while helping the team maintain control.

With a well-taken goal, several dangerous attacking moments and impressive movement in midfield, Bellingham was among Madrid's best performers. His overall contribution made him a deserving Man of the Match in the 3-0 victory.
